People are getting sick and, in some cases, dying from this virus. If we can reduce/prevent that (which we can), we should. Also, we need to avoid a spike in order for the hospitals to be able to manage everyone. Governments instituted lockdowns, which is a start, but we all need to do our part. We can’t go back to normal life until this virus is controlled, and since there is no known cure, the best way to do so is to take proactive measures to prevent people from getting infected in the first place.
